We harvested our first cucumbers, cilantro and basil out of the garden today. Now I have to find some recipes for the herbs. I will probably freeze the rest. The cucumbers will only serve as an appetizer for the family. We all love cucumbers and we could probably eat a dozen of these in one serving (I am not exaggerating!)
Our first spaghetti squash is about a week away from being ready to eat! 
Just 3 days after the last update this is the progress that Sam's watermelon has made!
In case you have not noticed we are very garden centered right now. I was looking forward to have at least 2 meals of sugar snap peas but when I went out there to check on them there were no peas! After a little probing we discovered several people who pick a couple when they walk past. There will be no peas at meal times because they have become snacks! (I am not complaining!)
