Sometimes They Surprise You

Hello all, I wanted to share a little exchange that happened the other day between our two youngest. It has been raining off and on for the last 3 or 4 days and with that of course is the thunder and lightening. We were finishing up a little family time (watching The Incredibles) and this happened:
(Thunder Boom)

Sarah: I don't like the thunder!

Sam: It's OK Sarah! You stick with me and it will be alright. You can sleep in my bed and I will take care of you.

Sarah: thanks Sam!

And there they sat together until the storm was over.
Touching and yet interesting that the smallest of the bunch would care so much for the older one. Too cute!

By the way, I have to say I have the best, all-around most awesome husband in the universe. He is talented, funny, thoughtful, mezmerizingly handsome, quick witted, physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight, and yes he is the one writing this post! :)
