**I thought that I had a little more time before we had to deal with low self esteem/body image but we have reached that point with a certain 9 year old who thinks that she is fat. She has been refusing her normal meals in favor of just veggies and she is adamant that she gets out to walk every day(this is a good thing for me but I worry about her). I tried to help her understand that God created her with a specific body type and that as long as she concentrates on healthy choices there will be no need to go over board. OY! 9 years old is too early for this!
**It is important to remember that when you have trained your children to do or not to do something then you are expected to follow those rules. We were on a Dadventure today and we are continually reminded that if we want to see wildlife then we have to be quiet. I sneezed and was scolded for "scaring the wits out of the creatures"(Sam) I am going to have to remember to hold in those sneezes!
**Someone discovered today that the words boobs and breasts refer to the same body parts. We will never again eat chicken breast without a good deal of giggling at the table. Really these kids are growing up way too fast.
**Just when you think that you have washed, dried, folded and put away the last load of laundry in the house another basket of the dirty stuff just appears in the laundry room. It reminds me of the woman and her oil. Not the kind of miracle I was hoping for but I am thankful for clothes all the same!
**I am super proud of my husband who spent hours preparing for his Sunday School class this week and did a great job! He had 2 1/2 pages of notes to give to the class and even though he was very nervous we had a great class!
**I was reminded today that a child with ADHD is very hard to keep focused...until you want him to keep moving! He takes Dadventures VERY seriously and he has to walk at a snails pace so that he does not miss any wildlife. Fortunately for me I was so far ahead of him when I sneezed he did not get upset with me!
**I am getting very irritated by this white square that I can't get off this blog. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

When did you post this? It just updated on my home page today. Wierd. Love this post! Tell Hannah if she wants energy to walk she needs a little protien! She is beautiful just the way she is but I am very proud of her for being so fit! You know if you stifle your sneezes they might come out the other end, which is more startling.
